I have has PA for many years now of which I have the injection every 3 months my body like clockwork two weeks before tells me when I need it/when it is due however two weeks before I feel so fatigue and want to nap throughout the day however work full time so struggle. This is with sleeping regularly at night..

Has this happened to anyone else and what do you recommend?

Yes ,we often hear of things like this . It is obvious that you need your injection more regularly . You should write to your doctor ( copy to your surgery manager ) asking for your injection every 2 months. .He/she may demur , but you must stay firm .If your efforts reachhopelessness , it is possible to self-inject , by obtaining B12 ampoules from German online pharmacies., and needles and ampoules from U.K. Many on this forum self-inject .

Very common, it’s just your body telling you it’s time for a shot. You’re allowed to have injection every 8 weeks now as guidelines have changed for GP’s, if it’s a good doctor they might agree. You can put it writing.

Most of us struggle with our doctors hence a lot choose to self inject as it does get you mad when the doctor doesn’t want to know.

Some people use oral B12 spray but personally never tried that, I just self inject.

yes, indeed. I have b12 injections every 10 days and as sure as clockwork two days before my appointment I sleep the day away (and nights too) because I am so fatigued.
