Managed to get my NHS delivered b12 injection a couple if weeks ago, but have noticed symptoms getting worse not better, to the point where yesterday was lost to my usual symptoms of brain fog and fatigue. The injection was delivered very quickly with next to no discomfort at all, which makes me think it didn't quite get to where it needed to to be absorbed into my system. Has anyone else experienced this?
I self inject every 4 weeks as GP is insistent on 12 week cycle, so not worried about topping up my levels myself once I trust myself with a needle again, just curious (and a bit miffed).

Yes ive experienced this at times . Once I wondered if they given it. She had been talking about placebo effect.
Odd isnt it .
It all goes in though at whatever speed.
No pain to very painful ive experienced .
Definitely more tolerant now to actual side effects I used to get every time .
Tinnitus sudden need to sleep.
'Out to lunch"ect ect much milder now
At that stage i was teally hoping IM did last for longer than sc i do at home .
I find no difference as yet. Still having both . No idea really why
I supposes one thing is staying in the system and not becoming invisible??
Also seeing if there is any difference.
Last time o did 'pick up well' after an IM bot only gor 3 days ???
So much DIY .
I have noticed however that one day I'd have all the symptoms saying I needed another injection. But then the next day would be okayish again. (Not having had an injection) sticking to mg routine at present.
I refer on this occasion to the feeling of a belt made of heavy bricks sudden feeling of heaviness and the need to stop and sit down.
and the wsln of a drunk not feeling my feet properly to the following day being able to stand to cook and tio walk half a mile at relative speed feeling mg feet after eaten lunch ??
If it was out of date or had been stored at a high temperature it wouldn't have worked, as far as I know. But in my experience symptoms might be affected by whatever else is going on, eg stress, lack of sleep, more physical activity, unwell.
