Metallic taste

Does anyone recognise this? Strong metallic taste which seems to be stronger the day I self inject? Does it mean anything? Can it indicate whether you need less/more for example?

Yes. How much folic acid are you taking to supplement the B12?

I get the metallic taste after too much stress as well.

I supplement my weekly cyano injection with daily methyl-B12 sublingual tablets to fill in.

I think it indicates not enough B12 in your system.

My daughter says she gets that when her folate is low. So I would get your levels checked

Thank you for your replies I am on low end of normal for folate, despite the forest of greens I eat, another thing I don’t absorb I suppose, so will get supplementing

Hi mag999.try the better you B-complete daily oral spray it’s excellent easy to take as it bypasses the stomach so no worries about absorbing.you should also supplement d3 / k2 during winter months again you can get this in spray form from better you it’s cheapest via amazon and eat a daily banana or glass of coconut water if you can for the potassium.best of luck x

Thanks I would love to use the sprays but Only problem I have with Better you products is the spray failing so have tended to avoid, I assume you haven’t had this or have a solution (hoping)!

If you mean the spray blocking then return it for a replacement but that’s not a problem I’ve ever come across thankfully. If you mean it doing nothing for you then that’s only happened to me with b12 not the others because I monitor my bloods on a regular basis and the others do keep my vitamin levels in a good range.
