I get monthly injections and my blood levels are 1500. I have been receiving treatment for 5 months. My doc thinks this is sufficient and that I do not need more frequent injections despite the fact that my symptoms are all slowly coming back. I am wondering has anyone had their B12 levels checked while getting injections and what your numbers were? I know these numbers are falsely inflated and that doctors should go off of symptoms but my doc does not seem to think that is the case.

I had a battle with this but have two weekly prescribed by the Gp.
Tried a longer gap. Hoping monthly but no.
Hi,
The article below might be a useful one to pass onto your doctor.
B12 article from Mayo Clinic in US.

Table 1 in above article is about frequent misconceptions about B12 deficiency.
The BSH Cobalamin and Folate Guidelines in UK suggest that testing B12 levels after treatment has started is irrelevant.
I am in the same position here. I get my injections based on my B-12 levels. I have to show the doctor some of the research the next time I go in.
