“Buying B12

I order my B12 from versandapo in Germany. They are the online branch of a chemist that has been trading for over 250 years. The stuff I buy is Rotexmedica Vitamin B12 Depot Rotexmedica Injektionslösung. That is 1000 mcg of hydroxocobalamin in 1 mL - the same as you'll get from the NHS.

They sell in packs of 10 or 100 ampoules. The price per vial is quite a bit cheaper if you buy 100 and the shipping (about £8 - pre Brexit) is the same no matter how many you buy.

The site is in German, so it's a lot easier if you can understand the language. If you cannot then I recommend downloading the Chrome browser as it has a translation facility built in. For short phrases you can use Google Translate. I'll use the German for my description below.

You will want to log in to the site. Many people have reported problems doing so with a UK address. I recommend setting up an account with Amazon UK. Hover over the 'My Account' icon (just to the left of the shopping cart) and look to the bottom of the drop-down. There you'll see a box that says 'Login mit Aamzon'. Click on that and it will grab your details from Amazon - including your address.

Then hover over the shopping cart icon in the top bar. At the bottom you should see and icon for 'Amazon Pay'. Click that and you will be asked to login to your account. Then you can complete the order. Payment will be taken from the credit card to have connected to your Amazon account.

You should soon get an email saying " vielen Dank, dass Sie Amazon Pay bei versandApo verwenden."

And, two hours later another email - "Ihre Bestellung wurde versendet " Your order has been sent.”

I've fixed the VersandApo link for you, by inserting www (followed by a full stop) at the beginning of the link.

Links that are working appear in blue, but only after the reply has been posted. You can go back and edit a post or reply by taping on the more tab and selecting edit from the drop down menu.

Thank you so much for the information Narwhal10,I have tried to order using paypal and it seemed to be processing but nothing came out of my bank and the order on paypal says pending (few days now) so I am wondering if you have ordered previously it will process orders but if you are a new customer it won't ??

You can't (unfortunately) copy a blue link. You only pick up the displayed characters rather than the full link.

It’s not you Narwhal10. The HU platform is sometimes a bit tricky, especially when it comes to inserting links!

If you want to refer back to an old post, if you can find it, open the page and then copy the link displayed in the internet search engine box (top of the page). Return to the page and reply where you want it to appear and then paste the link directly into the place you want (as helvella has done above - thank you helvella 😉).

This process works for any page that you may want to reference in posts or replies (just open the website page, copy the link, open the HU Forum page and then paste the link wherever you want it to appear in a post or reply.

I've also fixed the VersandApo link in your reply above and left details on how you can edit a reply and do a link 'fix' yourself - if that takes your fancy 🙂.

P.s. I'm having a wry chuckle because I had to go back and edit my 'fix' reply - for some reason, it wouldn’t allow me to post www with a full stop after it - and simply deleted the lot .🤦‍♀️. As it did here when I tried to do it again. Told you the platform is tricky 🤣🤣

Hi,

I bought 3 x 10 ampoules, 100 syringes and 100 needles from Bodfeld ( bodfeld-apotheke.de) last week for about 35 euros including delivery. I used Google chrome that translated the sit for me and logged in using Amazon.

Versandpo won't send to the UK unless you sign in.

I did this a while ago, gave them all my details, and paid via my credit card and PayPal.

If I'd known to use Amazon, I wouldn't have had to type all my address details in again...
