B12 injection

I'm on B12 injections every 3 months I seem to be trying to catch my breath all the time. I also have a bald patch of hair from a itchy scalp, also my forehead is red and hot. I want to go the the doctors but the last time I mentioned shortness of breath they told me to go for a COVID test the test was negative the doctors said it couldn't be symptoms of anaemia as I was taking the injections. I don't know what to do because to get a doctors appointment because of COVID they need symptoms over the phone and they will probably say the same thing because of being short of breath it's one of the symptoms of COVID. Just feel so down with everything.

I would ask for a blood test .

Hair loss can be from low ferritin amongst other things.

I wrote a letter to ask for bloods .I put an sae in and they posted the blood form.

Get iron ferritin vit d folate. And ask the doctor to check thyroid and anything else they will do.

You need to find out what is happened

Alot of neglect of routine stuff is unfortunately going on. Of course you may need a more frequent frequency of b12 ?

I wish you well

Ask for a phone, or online, consultation. Then ask for your injections to be changed to every 2 months. Your doctor may be unaware that the guidelines in the BNF changed two years ago.

If that fails, write asking for the same change.
