PA and Mouth Ulcers?
Mouth ulcers can also be down to iron or other B vit deficiencies. If your diet is already good you could look at introducing a good B complex with folic acid to keep them balanced. Best to test ferritin levels before supplementing with iron
As the processes of cell replication, nerve function and energy release that use B12 need a wide range of nutrients to work properly, you may benefit from a broad spectrum multivitamin and mineral supplement, plus extra folate and maybe potassium, magnesium, iron and vitamin D, ideally from your diet.
Folate deficiency causes mouth ulcers so could well be your problem. It would be worth trying some folic acid tablets which are readily available in supermarkets and pharmacies. You may need to take more than one a day initially to rectify any deficiency.
A broad spectrum multivitamin and mineral supplement - and supermarket ones are as good as any - is better than a B Complex as it has all the B vitamins PLUS all the other things you need as well. Don't take both or you could risk getting too much B6.
