Im currently 8 weeks pregnant, and wondering whether I will still be able to do b12 shots safely, or could it harm the baby?
TIA 🙂

There is absolutely no reason why you should not continue with B12 injections during pregnancy . It’s very important to stay well . Also take your daily 400 mcg folic acid tablet . Best wishes .
Hello! 34 weeks pregnant here and been having my regular injections throughout pregnancy (3 monthly). I really need them by the end of the 3 months as baby takes b12 from mum for development. Midwife and Dr’s both said it’s totally fine and safe to continue in pregnancy. In fact pregnancy can sometimes cause a temporary deficiency in people and they treat it with injections 😊
Hi,
The PAS have a leaflet about B12 deficiency during pregnancy.
You would need to be a PAS member to access it.
