B12 injection appointment

I am very happy to say GP surgeries are now making routine appointments. I have been fortunate enough to make a B12 injection appointment 😁😁. Good luck .

Ours aren’t yet - phoned this morning for hubby’s b12 and referred to the chemist for tablets.

I already take Vitamin B strong compound, but there not a lot of good as I have a malabsorption problem. I would check every week with your doctors surgery as they are doing routine smears etc. now. Hopefully it won't be long before he will be able to have it again.

I think it depends which part of the country you live & if your Dr is educated or not.

I got a phone call from my surgery beginning of March saying my injection was overdue & to make an appointment ASAP to come to the surgery for it.

After explaining my Dr knows I self Inject & there was no need for me under the current climate to put anyone at risk by going to the surgery, the receptionist checked & said, well please make sure you don't run out & do let us know when you start running low if you can't get any.

Even though my Dr didn't agree to more regular injections that I obviously need, it's refreshing to know my surgery is one of the few who know how important B12 is.

Well done on getting your appointment, I can imagine the worry it's caused, & I hope many more will be able to do the same 👍
