Am wondering if b12 deficiency/PA affects serotonin. The withdrawal effects coming off drugs that raise serotonin are are the same as deficiency symptoms.
Flu like. virtigo . Off balance. Dizzy. trouble walking. diarrhoea. Irritability. low mood. brain zaps pain from neck over the top of scalp. headaches. lack of coordination. memory lapses . fatigue and weakness . trouble sleeping muscle aches skin crawling. Also typical signs of menopause as serotonin drops.
Is it possible that b12 deficiency affects brain chemistry and serotonin uptake??The symptoms all so familiar. Ti me anyhow. I know sone has different and more like tongues inflamed ect .But it got me thinking. I wonder if this is what Gps are working from when time and time again trying to get you on anti-depressants ti raise seritonin levels but not explaining why. Came about as testing uo on Deloxatine . Last drug offered and always look to see if you csn get off it if it doesnt work for you o ce /twice bitten!! And there it all was . Withdrawal symptoms describing alot of how I presented . Only thing found very low b12. Anyone think this possible?

I've taken SSRIs and I could see no resemblance at all between their effects (or withdrawal effects) and those of a B12 deficiency. And I can think of no reason why there might be any similarity.
