If your doctor has told you that you must switch to pills get a telephone appointment to discuss it. Tell them you have read the new guidelines from the British Society of Haematologists for B12 deficient patients during the covid-19 epidemic. pernicious-anaemia-society....

Say that you are worried about irreversible nerve damage if they stop your injections.

If they force you to switch to tablets then keep an eye on your symptoms. As soon as you get any numbness/tingling in your hands or feet get another telephone appointment.

Yes same here. Tablets no good for me as I have PA and cannot absorb b12. My surgery very unhelpful and I asked if I could self inject. The answer was no, they would not prescribe injectable b12 or even advise me. I have sourced b12 from Germany and syringes from medisave and gave myself injection last week. Feel much better
