3rd time.

Hi folks hope ur coping well.

1st time had my doses I think 2 three times a week then 1 every 2 months I started to feel better then after 2 months it was stopped.

Then back to the doctors weeks later after more or less begging it was reinstated BUT every 3 months now it’s better than nowt.

Then 3 months later got my injection.

Then 2 months later got letter from doctors saying my b12 jabs have stopped because I was negative for. it wasn’t for intrinsic factor antibodies I can’t think at moment some other antibodies? I’m hoping you folks will know what I mean.

Then back to doctors 3weeks later I took a list of my problems to her she told me she had to see another doctor and of she went then come back to tell me she couldn’t help me with my b12 and that I wud av to make another appointment with doctor that put me on b12 jabs.

So back back to receptionist I make appointment for 19 days.Back at doctors doc tells me I don’t look well.I answer saying do u think it may be because of my b12 jabs keep being stopped then be started.Cut a long story short doctor asked now a greed to give me 1 b12 jab 1 a week for 5 weeks then take it from there.

Goodness. At least you having a loading dose of sorts. Usually every other day in UK. Try not to get your b12 blood tested again. It can be used to stop injections.

I hope now you will get some relief from your symptoms.

Well done for pseevering . I had to do the same. Can do without it whilst ill.

No I think I’ve educated the doctor I think.I made him aware of b12 being higher from the other time.i told him that after my loading doses he pointed out on the graph on computer I laughed and said I new u wud notice that it was still only half range I then said realy Doctor that should be of the scales with b12 jabs doctor but it’s only half way there.I did say to doctor that I have pernicious anemia I then told him again that my mom had it and so does my sister.I then said does that run in families doctor said yes u r correct.I then laugh to myself silently.

I then said to doctor can’t that cause me copd and heart failure which then wrecks my life and therefore cost nhs more money in the long run doctor said ur right.(I was like wow)

He said u have copd already I told him for years.I gave him a long list of my problems inside body tremor for many years electric shocks they are painfull etc etc.

Another 4jabs to come 2nd one 16 jan.Its a start fingers crossed.
