b12 was 186 pmol/L range 138-652 pmol/L

RBC LOW 4.41 RANGE 4.50 - 6.00

Hematocrit LOW 0.395 RANGE 0.400 - 0.500

Dr said "its fine" i started monthly injections anyways due to the fact that my mother has PA and had the supplies, also do to the fact that she had similar symptoms.

ultrasound found gallstones, so gallbladder was removed.

i did notice after SI i had more energy and felt slightly better but never "good" a year ago the DR said my issues were do to "back pain" and i should take amitriptyline. at this point i stopped taking b12.

its been at least a year since i have taken any b12 and my levels are currently at

241 pmol/L range(138-652)

RBC

5.17 (04.50 - 6.00)

Hematocrit

0.453 (0.400 - 0.500)

if b12 was a issue would my levels have dropped to at least the initial level or lower after a year?

i have read that liver will store b12 for years, is this the case with SI b12?

My B12 was 211 and I had nerve damage and muscle damage by that time--probably it had been low for years--I gave myself shots for about 18 months weekly and I'm only about 35% as bad as I was--the nerves that were damaged but not dead came back with electric shocks that I seem to get in my legs for a year or so--which meant they were trying to recover--now I don't get those shocks anymore because what could wake back up on the nerves came back. I'm not 100% like I used to be but thankful I found a doctor that gave me a prescription for 52 shots weekly for a year or I'd be in a wheel chair today. I still take a B12 pill every day of 2500mg just to make sure. My reading last month was 440 on the B12.

When I was taking the shots, my reading would be like 1200 on B12 which didn't mean must of anything because I had to overdrive the B12 until it repaired everything that was repairable first.

Many doctors think that when they get the B12 to 400 or so with a shot that you stop the shots because that's good enough but my doctor knew better and said don't worry about the high reading we are in repair mode and you can't over dose on B12. The excess will just go out in pee.. good luck
