Hi,

Does any one try fasting with only water for many days to heal the atrophic autoimmune gastritis.

Thanks

No and I doubt it would work.

I don't think anyone is actually sure what it is that causes the auto-immune reaction but there is no evidence that it is related to any particular food./foods in general.

Hi, I doubt that this would have much effect - try reading The Autoimmune Fix by Tom O'Bryan for some extremely interesting and useful (I found) background, lifestyle and diet suggestions. Best wishes

No.

There is no evidence at all that anything can be done for autoimmune diseases by changing diet. Anybody telling you otherwise is likely to be a charlatan or a snake-oil salesman.

Just an anecdotal comment... I fast on a regular basis... my PA has not improved one bit!!!

I don’t think that is healthy. The way to fast is from Dawn until Dusk with a light meal before and a light meal after and plenty of water when it’s not fasting time.

It is advised to fast twice a week on Monday and Thursday.

Fasting is obviously shorter in winter and longer in summer.
