Hi thought easier to do a new post, thoughts on b12? The range is confusing me as I remember it’s usually higher. So would this be a relatively good result within that range or should it be over 500 irrespective of range?

I’m going to get the ferritin up.

The idea that B12 has to be over 500 is total nonsense.

The range on each labs tests is different. They use different equipment and quote results in different units, so that aren't comparable.

Your B12 is more than twice the lower limit. More than half of all normal people are likely to have B12 levels lower than yours.

Also note the unit used, pmol/L. Your value corresponds to 523 pg/ml, with ref range 196 pg/ml to 771 pg/ml. (Just multiply by 1.355)
