Sorry to hear this. I thought your ammonia was high at one point and you have fatty liver. Did anyone one explain you why ammonia was high because it can cause brain fog. I have recommended you in past and I will say this again, get gp to arrange ELF test

I do have fatty liver.. had 2 fibroscans . Ultrasound with contrast and liver biopsy all clear showing only fatty liver.. thyroid also been tested. Professor at queen Elisabeth hospital even said my liver was fine.. I'll ask about elf test at next app

Test me Ktan, i have been through this and ELF test can be arranged by GP. I think that is most accurate test. Please be careful what you eat. Simple rule is no white i.e no salt, sugar or white flour, bread, pasta rice etc.

Hi!

How's your leg this morning?

Warm and achy doesn't sound good - could suggest an infection or allergic reaction but it might be fine if it's OK this morning.

I know a lot less about people but the treatment for fatty liver syndrome in cattle is B12 injections!

Sorry not to be any further help but I think this needs to be in the hands of a specialist who has seen you.

Thanks for reply. Leg is completely fine today. Interesting fact about cattle fatty liver and b12 injections...

Phew - I'm so glad to hear it!

It should be OK for the rest of your jabs in that case.

After a while you get so used to them you don't really notice if they have an effect on your leg or not, to be honest!

Always make sure the needle is a brand new one and the tip hasn't touched anything - it takes nothing to make them slightly blunt and then you feel it!!

I hope start to feel better soon.

Thank you.. I've bought two packs of needles one for drawing and then change it to new one for injection. O hope so too feel like I'm dying no exaggeration

And the scary bit is it's true - we will if we don't get enough B12 and supporting supplements! I had got so bad I just wanted my suffering to end.

Today, (after more than 4 years of daily jabs and loads of supplements, nutrient rich diet, etc), I have been working hard physically since 7. 30 and at some point I remembered the name of a pony that someone I used to work for once a month had about 10 years ago! At one point I couldn't remember anyone's name except my husbands and didn't even recognise my neighbours, let alone remember their names! It shows how much improvement is possible so take heart - you will come alive again!
