Has anyone had any help from visiting a gastroenterologist? Interventions (surgical or drugs?) by, or Advice from, a gastroentereologist?
Can dietary adjustments help?
Or are there known or suspected triggers (foods, toxins, stress etc), for the antibodies, that I can look to remove?
(Similar to those that seem to be suggested for autoimmune thyroid issues.)
Any link with gut flora or the concept of leaky gut?
I understand parietal cells help us produce intrinsic factor and HCl?
So antibodies mean less parietal cells? So less intrinsic factor and less HCl? Both of which hamper our ability to absorb vitamin B12?
