Tests for stomach cancer

Hi everyone,

I have been feeling bloated for about a month. My doc is worried as I have had a non endocrine turnout in the past. I think a bit of my symptoms seem like autoimmune gastritis - so food repeating itself after I eat- I have had this since my consultant removed the previous tumor so this is not a new symptom for me. He put me on a low Fibre diet so no fruit or veg and and the bloating has gone! The gassiness has also improved. Here’s hoping that it’s nothing but I hate having the words urgent all over my referrals. I am only 44 so hopefully that will help. Anyhow any insight appreciated. Wish me luck tomorrow x

Good to have it checked out and good that you feel positive that nothing has changed. You are probably right, if you are in tune with your body you tend to know. Wishing you well!

Thanks Emma. It was a bleeding polyp in my colon which her removed. Doc said he would see me every year now given my family and own history and referred me to a dietitian for the bloating. So relieved.
