Hi weazle74 I think you are / have been using a B12 spray - have you felt any benefit from it?

Have you been having B12 injected?

Having a test now will probably be skewed but if you are only using the spray it may be interesting to know how much you have been able to absorb.

i was givenb12 chewable tablets 1.000iu and vitd tablets 2.000iu and i want to test and dont know how many days i stop vit before having bloood test i am feeling little beter i had no injection done after testing if not the levels are up i will

You may need to stop taking the B12 for two or three months before having another test.

If you are feeling better taking them why do you feel the need to be tested?

Stopping taking the B12 may mean your level dropping again and you feeling worse.

clivealive, normally it's stop supplementing for at least 3 months if you want to get a baseline for B12

I can understand what you mean, A month or so ago your B12 level was just over 100 yet you don't seem to be much better despite having the supplements.

I think you should go back to your doctor and see what he says as I worry that if you stop taking the tablets for three months your level may be right back where you started.
