hi i would like to reply to mattman,i have had an email from you but it has not appeared on my post so sorry about that ,i was thinking about what 'ist' i could ask to see when i talk to gp next week(i'm in uk)and an endo sounds promising,i agree my blood sugar needs addressing but gp and nurse as nice as they are are not listening to me at moment,have a way to go yet,thank you for your advice, support on this forum is just the best

hi helvella,i clicked on see reply on email and nothing came up on my post,clicked on links you have sent me and can't find any private messages,must be a glitch,thank you for your help,still finding my way round!

Did you post your email address?

If not, mattman2018 can't have sent you an email. Must be a Private Message. And you have probably received an email alert from HealthUnlocked to say that mattman2018 has sent you a Private Message.

yes its on an email alert as are the other replies to the post,no mention of private message,can't think whats happened,i just didn't want to be rude and mattman think i didn't reply to him

Flosslechops...if you click the chat icon at the top of this page, that will take you to the HU page where all your mails are saved (you can read and send mails to other HU users from here).

Your chat icon will shortly turn red to show,you that you have a message waiting - I've sent you a personal message (via the chat function) about the receipt of advice via personal messages. You'll also receive an email notification to your personal email address letting you know that a message is waiting in 'chat' here on HU. Should be able to access this by clicking on the personal email link to it....but that doesn't always work. So if not, access the chat message directly through the HU platform and the chat icon.

If you want to have a 'play' with chat, send me a reply and then a new message so you can see how it works - I'll reply so you can see it in action 🤣🤣🤣🤣😉

P.s. I've checked Mattman2018s profile and he didn't leave a reply on the forum...anything sent to you will have been by the private message function only 👍
