Just a quick one, does anyone else get a bit of blood in there saliva randomly. Not coughing it up or in phlegm, just in my mouth? Thanks all.

Blood in saliva
Could it be bleeding gums? I'm sure I've read that low B12 can lead to receding gums (which I have really badly)...
I don't think you could get blood in your saliva - if you have blood in your mouth then it must becoming from another source - eg bleeding gums as suggested below.
I mean it’s not when I cough, just in my mouth
if I understand correctly you are saying that you have blood in your mouth and it shows when you spit?
It isn't something I would associate with B12 unless deficiency has left you susceptible to infections, eg gum infections that mean your gums are bleeding into your mouth.
I’d say gingivitis infection and receding gums because of low B12 and associated vulnerability to infection. I’ve lost teeth in the past because of this. Haven’t had a problem since I began self-injecting.
Hello ukb12, I also have blood in saliva from time to time noticeable when cleaning teeth, and receding gums. I think it is another symptom of B12. I use Corsodyl mouthwash and toothpaste. I have never had infection. I have b12 injections weekly. Kind regards Potter 5
This would be something I think you would be better discussing with your dentist. I had it and lost a couple of teeth through it,
