I’ve just had a fantastic appointment with the cardiologist. She was horrified at some of the things my GP has been saying e.g. B12 is toxic. She asked how I felt about self-injecting and is speaking to the pharmacist to get me a supply so I can take whenever I need it. She is also the lead for students at the medical school so is going to have her students write a paper based on my experiences on the importance of treating based on symptoms and in the case of B12 deficiency, one size does not ‘fit all’. Hopefully these students will remember this when they are set free into the wild
Best appointment so far: I’ve just had... - Pernicious Anaemi...

Dippyduck that's great news. And a Cardiologist who knows how to treat B12 deficiency and is going to get her medical students to write a paper about your experience. Oh wow...set them out in B12 Wild West...quick 😉😀.
That's brilliant dippyduck
Hi, After having one GP draw around my feet and tell me that my shoes caused my B12 issue, I'm delighted that there is some out in GP / Medical world that understands B12.
I am so pleased to read your post . Great for you and patients with b12 deficiency /
PA .who will be treated by that doctor and hopefully her well informed students eventually . 3 hearty cheers !
That’s fantastic. Lovely to hear 😊
