Looking for a Haematology consultant with knowledge of PA

Can anyone recommend a Haematology consultant with a good understanding of PA? I live in Gloucestershire/near Bristol but am happy to travel if need be.

There is a PAS local support group in Gloucestershire.

You would need to be a PAS member to access details of the support group. There may be people in the support group who have seen haematologists in your area.

Sorry, I’m in Gloucestershire , and I’ve never managed to find any consultant who is interested in Pernicious Anaemia . . It really is a condition that entails much DIY . Just read as many books as you can . Books by our founder Martyn Hooper ( Amazon) or Sally Patcholok -“Could it be B12 “ Or address any questions you have to this forum - There are some very knowledgeable people here . They know more than the medical community about P.A . Best wishes .

At one point I consulted a Haemotologist who told me that P.A didn’t interest him , as it was such an easy subject . But he still took my £150 .
