Someone mentioned to me yesterday that b12 defiency can cause the half moons your finger nails to disappear. I’d never heard of it so googled it and it seems it can. Upon putting my glasses on after looking for them for ages (they were on my head) I can see four of mine have vanished!!
Anyone else out there noticed there’s are smaller or not there?

I’ve just looked at mine after your comment and I can honestly say the thumbs are faint and fingers non existent or almost non existent. So I seems like the advice is correct
There was a TV advert in the UK for Jaffa Cakes a while back during which a teacher telling her class about eclipses uses a Jaffa Cake to demonstrate the different phases.
I don’t have any but as I’m b12 deficient and have hashimotoes as well I can’t say if it’s one or the other causing it. I also can’t remember if I have ever had them
I've never had them on my fingers, just thumbs - even as a child! I thought that was normal! My grandmother had ridges on every nail and I was fascinated by that as a child. I can't remember her ever knowing why they were there. She's gone now, poor darling, so I will never know if she had PA - or any of the symptoms. So, if anyone wants me, I'll be down a Google rabbit hole researching half moons and ridges on fingers!
