Hi

I read the other day that b12 supplementation affects ones potassium absorption - is there any truth in this?

think its a myth.

if you have macrocytosis when you start vitamin B12 treatment then this can temporarily deplete your potassium levels because of the part potassium plays in making new red blood cells.

I have to take tons of potassium, but I use methylfolate, some days I can't get enough potassium in, if I don't take loAds, I get extreme aches, aches like I cannot move, I also take iron too, I think my body makes new blood cells so rapidly it uses a lot of potassium
