PA is an auto-immune condition in which your body attacks the mechanisms that allow the ileum to absorb B12 from your food.

This leads to a B12 deficiency

There are other absorption problems that lead to B12 deficiency.

Whilst 99% of B12 is absorbed in the ileum a small amount is actually absorbed outside the ileum, so high doses taken orally can help even if there is no absorption in the ileum.

High level oral doesn't work for everyone.

Wondering if I should do shots. Noticed sublinguals help. Feel good when I take, so probably working. lol

Considering shots.
