Reading through you earlier posts - I am wondering if you have ever had your Thyroid correctly tested ? TSH - FT4 - FT3 and importantly the Thyroid Anti-bodies TPO & Tg.

It is always good to rule things out and there are over 300 symptoms connected to the Thyroid and so often missed by GP's. Hashimotos is auto-immune thyroid so could be linked to your other conditions.

I have Hashimotos and Crohns with a B12 issue .... happy to help :-)

Did you see the actual results ? Do you have copies ? Not wishing to be a pain - but I have been a member for over six years on Thyroid UK where there are over 70,000 members - and I read everyday about people who are told all is fine . When we ask them to obtain results and post then we can see there are so many things that are not fine. Even some members here have discovered their thyroid issue with more extensive testing.

The NHS are cutting back so much that they rarely test anything more than the TSH which isn't even a thyroid hormone. There are at least 5 tests - as posted above - that are needed to see the full story. Sad but true :-(
