B12 testing advise please

Hi I am wondering if it is worth getting my active b12 checked with medichecks and if my gp will even listen if the results are low. My first gp tested my levels at 141 and gave me one injection but then no further testing. I recently had another test as my symptoms have become worse and it came back at 300 so I was ruled out as b12 deficient and put on antidepressants instead! Is the medichecks test ok to do and will an nhs doctor treat me if the results show low?

Ok thanks so maybe not worth testing. I was basically told my first results were borderline and that any treatment would only produce a placebo effect! There was 12 months between testing. I thought that normal blood tests could show ok levels but maybe active b12 would be lower?
