When I was 1.5 yrs old I was in hospital for 5 days with iron deficiency anemia. Can this cause damage to your myelin on your brain and spinal cord? Because 35 years later I was diagnosed with MS. does anybody have any experience or views on this?

your headline question is about folate but you then focus on iron deficiency. The two aren't the same.

Have you thought of contacting the MS Society? mssociety.org.uk/

They may know of research that's been carried out, papers written etc.
