Yes! I had similar a year ago before I knew about PA, my toes would pull down toward my sole, it was excruciating and did eventually subside but looked as your picture only my toe was pulled down not apart and could not be released, I used to fight to pull it upward, awful, sympathies ! >_<
Low K and Mag can cause cramps. What are your numbers (with reference ranges)? Also, are you taking B12 as methylcobalamin? There is a sublingual form with good absorption if you don't want to do inj.
Hi, I also have this.my toes either lock or curl up the front of my foot and ankle also twists up. The cramping is Excruciating. I did some research and have just ordered magnesium supplements. Also, I think it is important to have potassium rich foods and leafy green vegetables in your diet. I hope you get some ease soon. Kind regards
Yes I suffer too. I have not had my Potassium checked for a while so I am wary of taking a supplement, but I do take Magnesium, even so I was still having problems so I asked GP about it recently and she advocated me taking an iron tablet (I often have problems with low Ferritin) just before I go to bed together with my Mag tablet, it has worked really well for me. Not suggesting that you should take iron unless you know level is low though. (I SI several times per week with Hydroxycobalamin, take all the co factors and sub lingual Methylcobalamin from time to time too.
