Does anyone know if there are any B12 research studies currently being conducted? I've poked around on the internet but haven't found any recent scientific work. This is such a serious and yet common condition I wonder why more universities and health organizations aren't trying to find a cure.

If you're a member of the Pernicious Anaemia Society you can find quite a bit of information on research being carried out.
I agree, MoKayD - I can't understand why something so prevalent, and potentially life-threatening - definitely life-ruining - can be so misdiagnosed and subject to such ignorance in the medical profession. It's mind-blowingly astounding.
