The most common cause is because of high intake of B12 supplements in the form of tablets , patches , sub-lingual lozenges or sprays and injections . If this is the reason , there should be no cause for concern, as vitamin B12 is not toxic at all . Otherwise , the cause must be very thoroughly investigated .
