Update Step in the Right Direction

I have just had a phone call from my doctor, they have decided not to refer me for a MRI scan, but to refer me to a neurologist instead, as they have decided that would be more appropriate and then if the neurologist feels I need to have a MRI it is then their dept.

hopefully I wont have to wait 3-4 months for an appointment either

Also I guess the fact that they are discussing my case amongst themselves is something.

so fingers crossed I am moving forward albeit slowly.

Hi AngelaG. That's good news...much better to have a proper neurological assessment rather that just a scan.

Can't recall if you said whether they'd started you on B12 yet - do hope so 😀.

It's a long old haul with the NHS isn't it...hope you don't have to wait too long.

Take care 😀
