Thanks for telling us !
I want to buy this on DVD. Is it released? I know people that need to see it but are unlikely to read the book. This could be a very important movie. I would like to buy a couple of copies. I have tried Amazon but with no luck. Can anyone help?
As far as I know there is no DVD yet.
You can watch the documentary Elissa Leonard made with Sally prior to this movie. And the PAS-docu, and the conference, here: stichtingb12tekort.nl/vitam...
This was so interesting and very informative, thank you
How do you use Vimeo? Have not used streaming services before. happy for someone to pm me.
Thanks
Just watched the film that's for the link. I hope it brings awareness to health professionals and the general public alike
Awesome! Can't wait to see it. If I can figure out how.
Just click to the link & click the triangle on the player. if your computer pops up any kind of error with an installation recommendation (flash player), follow the instructions then go back.
If you have a really old computer there may be some slowness but it should work pretty painlessly just following obvious clicks.
Oh - & the promo code (JEFF) is the last thing you enter, so you do need to click through the payment process. The only reason it wouldn't work is if it's beyond the 24-hour period for the free viewing. Still - $2.99 is worth it.
Thanks, grossmusic!
Will do, once my cat gets off the computer chair!
see that you are another one whose life is ruled by cats ... I tend to move the computer chair and sit on a stool if that happens.
Good idea but my cat gets so annoyed with me when I've tried that! He totally rules my husband's and my life.
We rescued him and love him to pieces, but never having had a cat before, I had no idea how bossy and particular they can be! It's true -dogs have owners and cats have servants!
mine have me trained to get up several times in the night to feed them so totally empathise.
Watched it last night after seeing this post.
In most cases, I hate movies that are so one-sided. However, in this case we're talking about a quick, painless, cheap test that does no harm. Why doctors would fight it as they did for so long makes no sense, & I suspect some dramatic license made it look more sinister than it was.
Meanwhile, 20% of those tested (quoted somewhere in the movie) had B12 deficiencies. 20% definitely warrants broader testing parameters. However, the movie makes it seem like every patient this nurse ever encountered had the deficiency. Seeing a demon under every rock. Never showing any cases where the testing came up negative so that doctors could do more testing for other things felt a bit too preachy & in your face.
But as someone who has malabsorption issues after gastric bypass, I learned a lot throughout the movie, so I see it as an entertaining PSA.
Just finished watching. Thank you for the tip.
I am gobsmacked I am on a very small amount of meds for b12 & vitd still have the symptoms and I go in December for gut scope and that movie makes me think I am PA it has made me aware that my symptoms are not all in my head and i'm not nuts
That is a bit of a shame. A DVD would be very useful to have. I would be prepared to pay the going rate for a Feature DVD - probably several copies. Is it possible that this site could offer the suggestion? It would have more weight than coming from an ordinary punter like me. I would like to spread the word and a DVD would help.
Q) Do you have to register with vimeo in order to watch it? And then continuously have to receive all updates they send you? Does it also mean they sell your email address to "the world'? Thanks,
Thank you for sharing this. Very informative and what a tenacious lady!
