Coincidentally, I came across an article on increased pigmentation in cased of B12 deficiency - caused by an increase in production of melanin. medscape.com/viewarticle/83...

That link has been a huge eye opener for me! Thankyou Gambit62. I did notice my new GP looking at my weirdly white flecked arms (which my mother, grandmother and daughter also share) when we had our initial round in my fight for the right treatment. Also, since starting my B12 I now also have hyper pigmentation as well as some of the white patches almost being coloured in... It does look weird, but such is life!
I'm glad you asked that question. When I was younger I used to tan easily but in more recent years it takes me hours to tan. This week I've gone really tanned after only a couple of sessions sitting in the sun. I did wonder if it was the b12

Sorry if this sounds like scaremongering, but I have to ask...
Is there any chance you have Addison's Disease? It can make people look suntanned. If the signs and symptoms seem to match you you really will need to see a doctor as soon as possible.
Yes, I have continued to tan easily since starting B12, and the post that was linked to by Gambit62 from a year or so ago, having not tanned for several years before.
Weird. Interesting to hear others are having the same experience though.
