I did try them ,when my doctor would not give me more than 1 injection every three months in spite of totally numb feet and returning symptoms ( I had been diagnosed with P A,privately) I took well in excess of the suggested dose, to no effect at all. I also wore several B12 patches at the same time. So I abandoned them and eventually self injected B12. Haven't looked back.

I've started looking at autoinjectors which only seem available in the US?.. And I can't seem to see a supplier of the ampoules in English... Any help may help you if you go that route too... I will see how I feel after GP one... I won't beg but I'm going to complain we all have to do this ourselves...

Unfortunately it's illegal to sell drugs for injection without a prescription in the UK. Fortunately, our EU partners (Vote IN) aren't so blinkered and it's easy to buy online from Germany. versandapo.de/article/searc... is a German site with an English version of most pages. I buy the 1500ug in 1 ml ampoules.

Thanks for the site tho... I intend to make waves about having to buy like this... Strains on the NHS via numbers and ttip will see us have NO NHS eventually.. So I shall vote the other way ❤ Europe not the EU.. We need to make expensive MPs rule themselves and do the best for us... Which is going on how we feel not charts or guidelines... We have to hold them to account.. There was a petition on here for a test for PA it had 29 signatures on it... We have family and friends that should be in Parliament by now...WE together have to fight for wellness... Said with respect cause you are a great help 😊

I took up to 10 of the 5mg tablets a day when not being treated properly and they helped me get through in between infrequent injections. I would however reach the point where I could hardly function -usually after 6 weeks. I now self-inject every other day and don't need them.

I started on b12 sublingual lozenges (5000mg) and did start improving after a few days. They wore off quickly and I ended up taking 8-10 a day. Plus the spray sometimes. The lozenges are by jarrow. Only recently have I began to self inject but still take the occasional lozenge if I'm out. The injections have made the most significance difference but improvements with the lozenges proved to me that taking b12 in whatever form is what I desperately needed.

I take a 5mg tab three times a day. It allows me to get from one eight-week jab to the next but cannot replace them completely. I think self-injecting is on the cards for me.
