It's been a lovely day, the weather was nice and sunny. Couldn't do much today as I'm feeling exhausted and my back is really bad. On a brighter note, did anyone watch the London Marathon? ? I did as I love watching the fun runners and listening to their stories. I got my B12 injection due in a fortnight and I'm going to ask if I .can have it earlier as I am really feeling exhausted today. Anyhow did everyone have a nice day?

I had a good day though I am feeling the cold a bit.

Watched the MotoGP in Jerez in Spain - MotoGP2 won by a Brit - Lowe - so the national anthem got played.

Hi, today i went searching local streets to see if i could see any notices about a missing cat.

He is quite young about a year or so old, not chopped or chipped, took him to the vet to find out.

He has been seen for about a month but despite my asking and searching no-one seems to have any idea where he could be from.

This last few days he has got either increasingly braver or more desperate as he now quite happily comes to me and despite cats protection advice i can neither ignore him nor not at least give him some food. His field of operation has seemingly got smaller and smaller over these last weeks, he now doesnt leave my garden, not even go out the side gate to the front if the house. We have two foxes and i put our leftovers out for them and i think maybe he has helped himself to that.

It has been cold and wet here so i have put on the collar labelling him as a stray but given him a dry safe outside place to sleep. My own cats initially battered him which is how i know how long he has been about for, but one of mine at least now tries to ignore him.

Ive searched quite a big area over the last few days, contacted vets and cats protection, looked on various local net sites for missings even gone to local shops and supermarkets to look on their community boards, still nothing.

Poor little thing only has another ten days before he goes to the cats protection to be rehomed. I would take him but its not fair to mine who are old and set in their ways nor me who would be heartbroken if his real owner came forward.

I wish this had happened after my injection not two weeks before the next as i feel even more tired though not stressed, just saddened that i cant put cat and owner together again as he appears well looked after.

Hi Bentleyboo  my next injection is at nine o'clock this morning and I can hardly wait to get down to the surgery.

I hope you manage to get your jab intervals shortened - I'm still "in negotiation" with my GP at the moment but it's complicated by my type 2 diabetes and low vitamin D.

She wants to rule everything else out in case after 45 years I'm "imagining" the symptoms returning in the run up to the next injection.  She'll probably be asking about depression or "Alzheimer's" next.

Never mind I'm still "clivealive" coming up to 75

oh dear how many of us are 'in negotiation' with our gp's.  It's just not right.

what a nice cheerful message.  Good luck in asking for your b12 earlier... do let us know what your gp says.
