Hi there

I've recently been diagnosed with pernicious anaemia I have finished my loading doses and I was wondering if there's any vitamin supplement that I can take in between the injections that my body won't reject

Thanks in advance

Why would you think that you would reject anything?

Do you mean more b12 or just a multi-vit?

Firstly i personally would suggest waiting to see how you improve. It can take at least a couple of weeks to notice any improvement. In fact many people, myself included, did actually feel worse post loading. You need to encourage your gp to treat you properly as per guidelines as your first option.

But if you know definitively that you have an absorption issue then you need to consider sourcing the paraphernalia to self inject if your gp wont increase injections. Or there are sublingual lozenges, droppers for under the tongue, patches of high dose, nasal drops, sprays. So there is choice but not all work for all, and many people use a concoction of all of them to get personal best results. It is a case of trial and error im afraid, and can be costly.

Take a look through some of the previous posts within this forum, you will find a mine of information and helpful advice.

Myself, i use (holland barrets) boost spray and droppers as a quick temporary fix.
