What to do before a uMMA test?

Hi All

I've ordered a uMMA test from Medichecks, but want to know if there is anything I should do BEFORE the test. For example, are there any supplements, medications or foods that I should avoid in the day/weeks before the test?

I am not taking vit B12 supplements (and haven't done for about a month or so), but is there anything else I should be avoiding?

Thanks for any advice :)

I the U MMA is to see if you have a B12 def then staying away from supplements is all you need to do, Marre.

As Linda said its more 6 months of no supplements to make sure you have not skewered results though, re:"I am not taking vit B12 supplements (and haven't done for about a month or so), "

Hi

I stopped b12 for two months before a urine mma test and found it wasn't long enough. Mine came back as normal. I felt as though I'd wasted money. I think it needs to be a lot longer than two months. I'm trying to go for at least 6. Good luck with it.
