Pernicious anaemia video?

I think someone posted a link to an old video on here but I can't find it and it wouldn't play at the time for me (on phone).

Would someone mind posting the link for me please?

Thanks

Was it the Murphy and Minot film from the 1920s?

It definitely plays on VLC player.

I know it's a pig to play for some people. I wish they'd put it up with something different....

Excuse my ignorance, but what is a vlc player?

Not at all! It's a free software download that plays most videos when media player won't.

I'm glad you could answer that question because I couldn't. I only know I had to download it to see that particular film - I don't actually know why!

The video is in the Apple proprietary .mov format which is not supported by Windows Media Player so Windows users need a third party player such as VLC to view it. I mainly use Android devices these days and view it using Wondershare Player.

I did try converting it but it wasn't very successful. I'll try again but it probably won't be for a couple of weeks as I'm away from home for a while.

Brilliant- just got it to work with vlc player. Really interesting video! I particularly liked the bit about individual treatment and vigorous treatment being required!!!

It is brilliant - so glad you got it.

When the lady is doing the leg exercises, with the shaky lifting up, one of mine does that really badly. Apparently it's 'cognitive'. I don't know why Murphy and Minot went to all that trouble after they'd got the bloods right - the patients were obviously just suffering emotional problems...

Thanks. It's hard not to get angry. I think we must persevere to overcome lack of knowledge and understanding. Hopefully one day things will improve.
