Is all supplemental cobalamin active?? Is there a good post or link somewhere that explains the way supplemented cobalamin is available to the body, and why it may or may not be active? Thanks.

The injections hydroxocobalamin and cyanocobalamin are analogues. The active forms are methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. The four molecules swap components as part of the metabolism and recycling. Another form transcobalamin is stored in the liver and hepatic loop.
I'm not a Dr so this is just my understanding. others on the site have links.
