As far as I know the PAS uses this facility to reach out to people with health problems, as does ThyroidUK, Lupus etc and all the other communities on here. It's a meeting place.

If you clikc on the Help in the green bar at the top there is a section on the help page that tells you a bit about HealthUnlocked - what they do and why, which is about making on-line community spaces available to charties working on health issues.
