Anyone want to comments on this? It is my understanding there is a PD association with Manganeses exposure.- addtionally it is my understanding Cigarette smoke may produce metals such as Manganese??

I don't know about manganese but it is associated with chemical herbisides Agent Orange used in Vietman

i used to live near some fields where the spraying of insecticides used to occur a lot

not sure about this either. My Neuro is looking at my military time and the Link the Anthrax Vaccinations we recvd and PD the have reported.....

The first 10 years of my life were with my birth mother and step-father and we were "dirt poor". We did not have electricity so used keroscene lanterns and heated with it. There was also not enough food in the house, usually only ate lunch at school. At 10 yrs. old, I along with my brother and sisters were placed in foster care.

My doctor did an MRI just to make sure we wre not dealing with any other possible diagnosis. Interesting outcome. There was a portion of my brain that had never developed. He said when he sees this it it usually something that happened before age 10. He attributes my PD to the karoscene and malnutrition. When I was taken into foster care, the MD actually said that the malnutrition was so bad that I might not have survived much longer.

Once I had food in my belly, I started to grow (I was the size of a 6 yr. old). I also started to make mostly A's in my classes. My son test at an IQ level of 160. I have joked that I might have been as smart as him if I had a whole brain!

Guess what we see from these post is that there may be many factors that could be the cause of PD.
