Always stated to my neurologists and physical therapist for over three years now to please tell me things straight up, so they did. A few weeks ago i had my 6 month check-up, doc said "Mark you might want to consider looking into DBS, because at 1250mg of c/l per day your pushing the max level for what we are usually comfortable with. I said "Doc personally I did heavy research on DBS over the last year and I'm not going that route".... So in a conference call yesterday with Doc and Physical Therapist I stated that DBS was out but they were still my team if they agreed to support my med highway and not the push the drill in the skull approach...
Well I guess their decision has been written in stone and the team and I understand each other because a pharmacy delivery vehicle arrived at my front door yesterday, with a 12 month script and a peanut butter sized jar filled with 450, 250mg c/l tabs, I will continue to take 5 times a day (Every 3.5 to 4.0 hrs) @ 7am 11am 3pm 7pm 11pm. I'm getting about 90 minutes of "on" time per dose. roughly 7.5 hours a day of peace per day and about 6.0 hours of hell symptoms/side effects of off time, and then around 11:30pm I drug up with Ambien 12.5mg and sometimes medical cannabis then go to bed to get about 6 hrs sleep on average, waking up once on average .
I'll report back when I have to increase dosage or when any thing news worthy occurs. Praise to God!
