My friend, you need to see either your primary or a cardiologist. That pressure is dangerously high. The risks are stroke, kidney damage and increasing cardiovascular disease. It may or may not be related to pd, but either way, you need a new treatnent. The ones you're using arent working. Be safe!
My mom (diagnosed with PD about 12 years ago) had a similar problem: dangerous fluctuations in BP. Sometimes, it would be 190/110 at 10 am and drop to 60/40 at 12 pm, as an example. I monitored her symptoms and was able to determine a pattern. Her BP fluctuations occurred if she did not have a bowel movement in 3 or so days. She fixed her bowel movement problem as well as her BP problem using a protocol developed by a Russian doctor, Ivan Pavlovich Neumyvakin (which is very easy to follow). She also used a cbd oil supplement, vita laze.
Is there a pattern between your BP fluctuations and bowel movements? If so, the protocol my mom used might be something to consider.
Check your blood pressure lying down, setting up and standing.
My mother had issue where her blood pressure I was (is) higher laying. Fair setting and very low standing. . What she has is rare, Multiple System Atrophy-Parkinson's type. MSA-P. Check it out and see if symptoms are similar. The doctors in Arkansas made her worse. There is one in Little Rock who treats but he did not help her. She ended up going to neurolugst in Chicago and she is much better, she still has days but overall her blood pressure is good .
I want to thank you all for the comments. It shows me how complex this issue is. As I said before I have not been going to my neurologist, I guess I'm going to have to make an appointment. Thank you all, now it is making sense. Mary
