I was shocked when I sent in my claims to our Insurance company -when they “denied” the claim saying they do not cover any supplements or vitamins. 🤔 Hmm. So, this is frustrating and annoying. The cost of supplements that my Doctor has prescribed is significant.
anyone else had this same situation? Diet is a huge part of chronic pancreatitis management, correct. Any helpful tips?
Thank you.

Have U looked into buying the same supplements on line or at ur nearest health store. The fact U use medical insurance I'm guessing ur in the states .
Here in the UK certain medicines & all vitamins & supplements aren't covered anymore as they're cheap enough to buy over the counter.
Again shop around to get the best value. Me I try to buy a years worth of a supplement/vitamin as it gives me enough time to save up for the following year.
I hope this helps U in getting what U need without idiots at an insurance company saying yeah thanks for ur money but we don't cover ur health in that way. Or if U can maybe change companies but if ur more of a fine wine ( aged well ) then stay put.
