Dear Jackie 1947. I see nobody react. No, there is not vegan equivavalent for Creon or other pork based enzymes. Non prescription plant based enzymes simplie don t have enough lipase. They have good amount of protease, some amylases but small amount of lipase / usually milk based/. For ex. Digestitol from Swanson. It is pineapple, fungi and papaya extract with some piperine. Interesting, i don't tolerate it well/ i think i don't tolerate pineapple / and, as you said, they are very expensive. Of course, you are not first case allergy on pork/ some people don't take it Because of religiuos reasons/, and i think there is some solution, but you have to search help from your dr. Don't wait, you don't want starve to death... My best wishies.

My Dr emailed my Gastroenterologist as I'm still on the list to see her for the time time and she said what you did so I'm stuffed so to speak. Will have to carry on with Imodium. Deep joy. Thank you

Dear Jackie 1947. With CP, all of us are stuffed in some way. I ve been thinking about your problem. Maybe / but only maybe, Because i am only CP and EPI patient for 13 years , not dr. / some kind of solution is to divide your food in 7-8 small amounts with very small amount of fat. Not only Because your pancreas can handle small snack easier. Your pancreas /e specially if you are at beginning of this nasty illness / maybe still has some lipase reserve and can proces small snack succeful. On the other hand, your body need some fat content for transmission of fat soluble vitamins which are essential. I sugest virgin cold pressed coconut oil or mct oil. I d Rather take coconut oil Because of lauric acid in it. Even coconut oil is 90% saturated fat, it is 60% lauric acid, 7% caprylic acid, and so on... So this kind of fat are medium chain tryglicerides, which dont need pancreatic enzymes and go directly in portal vein, dont make burden on your pancreas, give you energy, and make base for transmission of A, D, E, K vitamins. Start low with it and go slow. No more than 1-2 teaspoon daily. Of course, some people do not tolerate coconut oil, so start with small amount. Personally, i take it for years and it help so much. In hope that this will help you some, i wish you good health and all the best. Sorry for my bad english, hope you basically understand.

It is very effective in fight with pancreas problem and one of the main fighters against pancreatic cancer. It is natural laxative... Try to search on net. Or you can try magnesium citrate 200-400mg daily. Simplie add half or full teaspoon of Moringa mixed in glass of water together with your first meal in morning. Hope it is gonna help. Best wishies
