Hi Karen, Yes I was thinking it’s been very quiet and have been wondering how everyone’s doing!

Well, I’m having a strange time. Since the beginning of Dec I have felt really nauseous and keep getting pain under my left breast bone. I’ve also lost lots of weight. At first my consultant thought it might be my pancreatitis playing up so did a CT scan. As I’ve said before, my pancreas is basically burnt out so I knew it probably wasn’t pancreas related, although who knows!

I also have dodgy kidneys…33% function and he said my left kidney had some odd tissue but he didn’t seem too concerned about that. He was going to do a PETCT scan to check it out but then I had an endoscopy back in April which found widespread oesophageal thrush apparently due to my inhalers.

PETCT got put on the back burner as I’ve had so many scans etc over the years and am relatively young…ish 🤣 that he doesn’t want to expose me to more radiation ☢️ for the time being unless it’s really necessary.

However after more fluconazole I’m still feeling much the same so my GP has ordered an ultrasound scan. I feel it’s more than the thrush causing these problems but everyone seems to think that widespread oesophageal thrush could make me feel this rough?

Anyhow, bloods next week and wait for scan appointment!

Lol…Karen it’s my turn to write a book this time!

Like Karen said, it’s feeling quiet so please do let us know how things are going!
