Please as this happened to you I go for 2nd ct scan tomorrow .my consultant is fairly sure I have PC. But I feel so well my problems seem to have vanished I feel amazing . I am receiving loads of prayer .God Bless you All Poppy Storey

Calm down. Why would they think you have PC when your count was down? A mass could be a cyst. See what they think first. A biopsy is prob needed.

They gave me a copy of report with said cancer alert.and measurements of the mass which was quite large. And other comments I've been in pain for some time .but things seem to have calmed down .no sickness or fatigue.but I do have a liver problem which could cause similar symptoms .thankyou for replying I'm very great full. Hi Hillary. I'm now awaitinghistoligical endoscocapy fine needle ultra sound. Before the oncologist can decide on palliative care .now they've told me these clinics are closed down .haven't a clue were to go from here..hope your well Poppy Storey.

I have just been reading your posts Poppy, was the mass on your pancreas missed on the first CT scan?

Even if am getting lost amongst it all .I think so because of body gas. As it is now .it has grown slightly more .waiting for fine needle endoscopy before I can see oncologist.but they now say the department is need is closed .I feel I'm just left to get on with it .thankyou so much for your reply Poppystorey xx

Thinking of you Poppy, I live near Preston so very close to you in Blackpool. I am in a similar position and have requested a second CT scan. I have heard so many cases where a pancreatic tumour is not always seen on the first CT. I have been for an endoscopy today, which thankfully was all normal so some clinics in the NW are definitely up and running. Will now push for a second CT scan. What made them decide to do a second CT scan?

Not sure i think it was because the blood test they did were very low and usually with cancer they are much higher .so it puzzled the consultant .hope you feel ok after your treatment today .Poppy Storey

A very rare slow growing tumor diagnosed Neuroendocrine tumor.

Had all tests done and see oncologist this week. Hope all is well with you .PoppyStorey x
