Date and time: 29th August 2024, 17:30-20:00

Location: Hillsborough Football Ground—Derek Dooley Suite

"SWFC, Lee Vaughan, Dr Ollie Hart and Oscar Hutton from Mirage Labs are collaborating to co-present an "Explain Pain" evening, plus a presentation from Oscar using an Illusions Workshop "Reframing Pain in the Brain".

The first hour will see two short presentations from Lee Vaughan and Dr Ollie Hart about how we do or don't understand pain - from a GP's perspective and from the Lived experience perspective, and how we can help both people living with Persistent Pain and HCP's to understand pain more clearly using the 'Flippin Pain Formula'.

Followed by Oscar's Illusions workshop and 'live' demonstrations on how we can use illusions to explain pain. Come and experience what it 'feels' like to have SIX fingers.

Please email ben.lamb@swfc.co.uk or partneringpain@gmail.com (Lee Vaughan) to reserve a place as we have a maximum capacity. The event is free to attend and refreshments will be arranged on the night in the Derek Dooley Suite."
